Don't worry, just because you found low airfares, it doesn't mean that your luggage won't be properly cared for. Make Your Luggage Unique

One of the best ways to make sure you can spot your luggage, whether you found low airfares or not, is to find a way to make your luggage unique. Sew special patches on your luggage or put stickers on the outside that will make it easier for you to spot your luggage as it is being unloaded from the plane. Black, soft luggage is extremely popular these days. While this luggage is certainly quite attractive, it makes it difficult to distinguish from that of other passengers.

Keep Your Luggage Locked

When flying in the United States, you will run the risk of having your lock forced open when you lock your luggage. Just because you saved money with your low airfares, it certainly doesn't mean that you have the extra cash to purchase a new set of luggage each time you fly. At the same time, just because you worked hard to find low airfares, it doesn't mean that you have nothing that a thief would be interested in. If you leave extra tags on your bag, it will be confusing to the baggage handlers and can cause your luggage to be delayed. Just keep one name tag on the luggage and leave it at that.
